It sounds like either your chip is damaged, or the ecu is damaged. Even without the interface box, it should still read form the chip but rev limit to 4000 rpm.

It may just be the characteristics of the injectors you are using. This is why we only recoommend the RC injectors. Since these are probably peak and hold injectors as well that is making the problem even worse for you.

You need a USDM ecu or a JDM PR3 OBD1 ecu to use the s300 with boost control.

For your purposes, the GM solenoid should work fine.

I can't answer the injector question as I know nothing about these injectors.

At the ecu plugs. In Kmanager go to help, contents, under reference you will find the ecu pinout.

Try removing 4 degrees of timing and see if the knock goes away,if it does, it's not mechanical noise.

I don't hav ethe specifics of the differences, but if you contact a shop familiar with engine swaps, they will probably know exactly what to check for.
