This logic change is a beautiful thing. Used to be that at the track I'd get the obligatory 2-4 knocks per run as the IAT increased in the upper gears. Last Friday when I went on the new logic, I didn't get a single knock under load AND I was able to add back 2 degrees of ignition under boost. Thank...

I compared all the fuel tables in the starting calibrations that you provide for the S2000 to the fuel tables in the "S2000 Tuned" calibration. The fuel values are all 7-10% higher than the values in the S2000 Tuned calibration. Is this because the larger injectors you used aren't flowing as close ...

Haha. My ECU has been flashed over 1000 times in the last year. If you go back and read all of Mike's/my posts in this thread, we've given you the keys of what you need to know. Read that stuff again and re-read the manual a few dozen times and it might start to make sense. The night this beta came ...

You're missing an important part of perspective here. This ish is brand new man. No one in the world other than Honda themselves truly knows how this works. All of the knowledge we have is what we have deduced from modifying the values on our cars and seeing how it reacts. We're figuring this stuff ...

We do the best we can to improve the behavior of the ECU but you must remember that we did not design the ECU - complain to Honda. I'll see what I can do. lol....Complain to Honda? That'll go well. You told me yourself that many times you've had to go through and simplify Honda's logic... so this i...

So I'm just going to put this bluntly. THIS LOGIC SUCKS ASS Derek, please change the logic here and make all ignition compensations under the "calibration" section independent of the knock logic. This is nearly impossible to tune consistently the way it works now. k.control is the stupidest thing ev...

Well if you look at the calibration that I posted above. The knock ignition values are very close to the actual ignition values. They are only positive by 1 or 2 degrees. So why does the retard not work then? Because the knock ignition limit table values don't correlate to the values in the actual ...

It appears that Honda has implemented the IAT ignition retard so that it is applied to the knock limit timing but not the MBT timing. You need to set the knock ignition limit close to the actual ignition timing (esp under boost) for the retard to work. So what you're saying is that all of the compe...

Wideband time offset
I find that 99% of the time my aftermarket WBo2 (AEM UEGO) is about an 1/8th of a second behind my OEM WBo2 in the datalogs. It does vary a bit though, some days worse than others. It would be nice to have a configurable time offset for the wbo2 in the graph view. See the rich condition from the VTE...

We are running 70psi base pressure at the fuel rail, as measured by your fuel pressure tester (Doug sent it to me a while back). At 70psi, the datasheet for the ID1000's claims that they flow 1265cc. I realize that ID's testing procedures are not inline with the rest of the industry... and that this...
