Knock

Igntion Comps

RedR wrote:i´d like an option to see the ignition timing and the real timing the engine is running (based on the various compensation maps)
In other words a table/sensor that will show both values.
Yes, I want to see this as well.

Dipping Below Target Idle on Lift Off

Thanks Adjusted TPS 0.51v to 5.00v and done the procedure for setting idle. IAC Duty cycle is set to midway between Normal and Increase. I also set (1) the overrun fuel cutoff (tps) delay to 0 msecs (2) and overrun fuel cutoff (map) to 8 kPa for 500rpm and 2000rpm (3) increased timing in the idle po...

Rpm drops to 650 rpm before recovering 1,000 rpm

Rpm drops to 650 rpm before recovering 1,000 rpm. How do I tune this out? I do not want my rpm to drop below 1,000 rpm on throttle lift-off. The datalog show injectors cutting off. How to fix this?

The fuel units are linear units which are converted to injector duration after compensations and injector dead time compensation. A stock fuel map often will show over 100% duty at redline (obviously the duty stays at 100%). QUOTE FROM THE TECH FAQ "You can see the approximate injector duration on ...

Injector Duration (msecs) in 2D/3D Graphs

What are the fuel units in ROM Editor not milliseconds? Injector duration varies with a number of different conditions (water temperature, air temperature etc) and is not linear. E.g. an injector duration of 4ms will not deliver twice the fuel of an injector duration of 2ms (it will be almost three ...

Theory

I am posting this to discuss from a "theoretical" perspective since we should guestimate how the volumetric efficency should change.

Jun Type 3 Fuel & Ignition Map - Stock ITR Block

What is the fueling and ignition adjustment for Jun Type 3 Cams vs. Stock ITR Cams on a stock ITR block? Before 6000rpm - lower volumetric efficiency? After 6000 rpm - higher than stock volumetric efficiency? So < 6000 rpm decrease fueling and add timing vs stock > 6000 rpm add fuel and decrease tim...
