Datalogging

You need a hondata s200 with an OBDI ECU if you wish to datalog with HondaLogger. I think what would be more suitable for you would be an OBDII scan tool that can datalog. There are some which use a PC or Palm for datalogging. The price and software features vary so shop around.

Hondata with J&S

Don't forget the ECU is still a Honda ECU, reprogrammed by Hondata. If it works with a stock ECU, then it will work with an ECU modified Hondata. At Hondata Matt uses a J&S successfully with Hondata on his supercharged Type R.

FJO lambda

The FJO output voltage should not change when you connect it to the ECU. I just checked mine and it only changes by about 0.01V when you disconnect and reconnect it. Double check the analog output wires from the FJO power connector. Analog output should be pin A, analog ground pin B. A and B are sta...

Lambda wiring

With a stock 95 Civic if I test the voltage at the ECU with a voltmeter and compare it to HondaLogger they are almost exactly the same (about 0.01 V difference). All the grounds from the ECU should merge into one connection to the vehicle chassis (G101), but it is still very important to use D22 as ...

Lambda input

Wire the lambda output directly into the ECU, making sure you use the correct pins (D22 & D14). Make sure the vehicle wiring or adapter harness doesn't ground SG2 (D22). Put a multimeter between D22 and D14; compare the reading to HondaLogger. If the voltage agrees then trace back towards the lambda...

Stage 1

This was something we sold just for the PW0 but stopped selling the stage 1 once piracy was a problem. I think the last one we sold was in 1999. The stage 1 was developed about 1 year ago, but unfortunately the marketing division got word of it from the r&d division before the stage 1 was finished, ...

Non VTEC ECUs

The P28, P74 and P75 will all work equally as well with V3. With V2.5 your choices would have been limited to just the P75.

Stage 1

Stage 1 never existed. We developed the circuit but then held the release until V3 was released. In the near future a product similar to the stage 1 will be released.

ECU for LS

It does not make any difference which ECU you use. Both the P28 and P74 can be made to run non-VTEC.

ELD

With V3 software and the s200 you can disable the ELD. With V2.5 you can simulate the ELD by using a voltage divider to give the EU 2.5 volts. Wire a 1k resistor from D10 to D20, and another 1k resistor from D10 to D22. The exact resistors values don't mater as long as they are the same and between ...

Hondata ECu modifications for K20A3 Civic hatch

Be aware that there are many hardworking people at Hondata and that I (Doug) am just one of several who answers this forum. I have access to a Civic which I should be able to put on the dyno and test ECU modicfications over the next few weeks. If there is anyone close to Torrance CA who would like t...

The ECU compensates for temperature. The only things that the ECU does not compensate for is fuel temperature and humidity.

s200

If it is an upgrade then it will not have the cables. If it is new and has not got the 3 step then it will only have 1 cable. If it has the 3 step then it should have a push button and clutch cable.
