There is no discount for gettting another car reflashed. You could try to get the dealer to swap ecu's and rekey the immobilizers and keys for you, but doubt they will let you.

This is because you have the vtec point set in the ECU. If you want to be able to change the vtec point, you must burn a new eeprom with no vtec point set in the rom.

THe 27's are only able to be programmed once. THe 29's can be reprogrammed many many times.

The PR3 does not have an external ROM. Then You use Hondata with a PR3 you have to take out hte stock program and put in a new chip for use with Hondata.

This sounds exactly like a wiring issue or a bad map sensor or a combination of the 2.

Make sure that jumper j12 has not been removed from the ECU. If it works fine with an s200 then this is probably the case. If it is, just have a piece of wire losdered in the j12 position.

There is only a problem if you overheat your engine or blow a headgasket. This will probably happen on any engine, not just the d-series.
