Re: ECU (w/K-Pro) went bad. Is repair/replacement available?
I disconnected the Alt C wire a while back. New Denso alternator. Voltage output measured at alternator. 12vdc IG circuit good. Charge of 14vdc output is there.... then it drops out. I've been chasing this gremlin for two years now, although I don't drive it much. So if I understand what you're sayi...

Re: ECU (w/K-Pro) went bad. Is repair/replacement available?
The portion of the ECU that controls dual-rate battery charging is not working properly. After following the Honda manual's troubleshooting procedure, it says replace ECU. New battery and alternator, plus cleaning all ground points and countless hours of troubleshooting. After sitting a day or two, ...

ECU (w/K-Pro) went bad. Is repair/replacement available?
I believe my ECU may be damaged (according to the Honda manual), but I'm certain the K-Pro is working fine. Is it possible to send it in and have my K-Pro board swapped to a new PRB ECU board?

Re: Dropping Alternator Charge Voltage - ELD Enable/Disable
Thanks for your response. Much appreciated. The information is correct for the K series. That said, you might have an old-type harness where the AltL output directly tied to the negative side of the charge light (old school... which I prefer by the way). You are correct. The ECU does not control ALT...

Re: Dropping Alternator Charge Voltage - ELD Enable/Disable
The ELD input only provides an idle up for the engine. It doesn't change the alternator control / output. Thank you for your response. Actually, the FR circuit between the Alt and ECM B Connector Pin 13 is responsible for controlling engine idle. Not the ELD sensor. I put some additional informatio...

Re: Dropping Alternator Charge Voltage - ELD Enable/Disable
Thanks Spunkster. I have used the manual for troubleshooting, but then I have an aftermarket modified ECU. So my question is directed at Hondata regarding the ACTUAL functionality of the ELD toggle in K-Manager. "I read in previous posts on this forum that the ELD Enable only disables error rep...

Dropping Alternator Charge Voltage - ELD Enable/Disable
I have a K24A2 w/K20 wiring harness and K-Pro ECU installed in my Lotus Elise. As such, the Lotus has no ELD. Also note I have no stereo system, AC, or other power hog devices. Issue: When the car starts cold, the charge voltage from the alternator (measured at the battery terminals) is 14+vdc. Afte...

Base map for my K24A2 TSX (2004)
Just finished building/installing my K24 for my Lotus Elise. All wired up and ECU appears to be working great. While the fuel cell is empty, I cranked it last night to ensure oil pressure was up... and it was good. While I thought the fuel tank was empty (after installing new in-tank fuel pump... it...

Does K-Pro have a Shift Light output?
Currently retrofitting an Acura TSX K24 into my Lotus Elise factory built race car. It has an existing 'Shift Light' atop the dash that I would like to continue using.
Is there a 'programmable RPM threshold' output on the K-Pro?
