Re: Ignition Timing Sync
It started with the new forward facing manifold and new turbo system I installed a few years back.its bad placement yes but others who had the same exact setup, motor, manifold by the same fabricator haven't had the issues I'm having. I have two Tial V60's now on my manifold and from the last log I ...

Re: Ignition Timing Sync
I will check this week. Keeping in mind the car does run great and the tune is good. If the base timing is off by 10 degrees for example, to get it close would I need to rescale my ignition maps by adding 10 degrees once the base timing is correct at 16 and in sync with the ECU? I know ideally I'd h...

Re: Ignition Timing Sync
I spoke to my tuner last night, he said that he usually always sets the timing himself before he starts the tuning process, but he said that occasionally he doesn't under certain circumstances. I have to verify my timing first to see. I get the car warmed up, click the online button in smanager, cli...

Ignition Timing Sync
2000 Civic S300 V3 H-series 533HP at 19lbs 717HP at 29lbs Since I had my car tuned I've been having issues with Boost creep. I've tried everything, and it's still there. Forward facing custom manifold with a TialQ V60, now with two Tial V60's to try and fix the creep. The only thing I haven't looked...

Re: Hondata 4 port boost solenoid
So I should be able to have just as good a control of my wastegate using the hondata 4 port boost solenoid as the 3 port with the added advantage of not having to swap out springs to reach higher boost levels

Re: Hondata 4 port boost solenoid
Yeah that's what was told to me by a few very popular tuners in the Industry, they suggested I use a dual 3 port setup for my single tial V60 for better control

Re: Hondata 4 port boost solenoid
Thanks so I have it set at 25hz now . I have to redo my boost table because of a faulty wastegate diaphragm so hopefully it works out. Can you explain what the resolution means specifically, I hear alot of people telling me that with a 4 Port I'm losing the resolution I had with my old 3 port. Thanks

Setting up Low/High boost control
I'd like to set up the low/high boost control settings so I don't have to use two separate maps, does it have to be an external switch wired to the given ecu inputs? Can an analog or Digital input be used that plugs directly to the S300 version 3 board? Thanks

Re: quick spool/ activation pressure
Interesting topic, I've played with the quick spool feature and for whatever reason I always overboost in every gear, like it's very sensitive as to what to set the values in the quick spool box to get it right.
