Re: Boost Controller - Seems to want to work but super sensi

Checked your thread. The datalogs only show creeping. Not sure we have the same issue unless you put in a boost cut and give it WOT. Mine has no problem holding, just a huge spike, THEN it holds. e: I would try setting a lower frequency (20-30) and messing around with that. Low boost generally seems...

Re: Boost Controller - Seems to want to work but super sensi

"as im told by them" Yyeeea... I had the same spiel, though different vendor. I wonder if a different solenoid would clear it up, I just don't want to spend the money to end up in the same spot. Any datalogs/calibration of the problem? How similar are they to mine? Mine would spike like cr...

Re: Boost Controller - Seems to want to work but super sensi

Migee did you get any resolution with this? I as well am having a similiar issue. No I gave up for the time being -- too busy and frustrated that I spent so much time trying to get this simple thing to work >:). What solenoid are you using? What car/specs? Do you have the diode in parallel with the...

Re: Boost Controller - Seems to want to work but super sensi

Seems.... a bit better I suppose. As I actually see it limiting it to a value higher than the wastegate but it SPIKES like crazy, I have to start the run out of my powerband otherwise it will spike way too high. Cut @ 15psi / 7 @ WG Calibration (Minor changes to boost control/cut such as lower activ...

I'll give it a shot. I think I went down to 35hz in the past, maybe it wasnt enough. How fine can you adjust your boost now?

Re: Boost Controller - Seems to want to work but super sensi

I can confirm soon, but I'm 99% sure its a MAC 35a-aaa-ddba-1ba.

On website it lists this as :
12 VDC 5.4 WATT INLINE VALVE WITH 1/8" PORTS
cv .08

Boost Controller - Seems to want to work but super sensitive

I don't have access to my car for a bit, but this has been on my mind and bothering me why it wasn't working. I'll work on getting a datalog and calibration when I have my car working again. I just want some suggestions on why this happened: I set up a solenoid for an internal wastegate setup (b18b ...

Re: PWM Boost Controller testing

Put a +12v LED to the two leads (to correct polarity) and then change activation to a number lower than vaccuum and adjust duty cycle -- watch the brightness change.

Re: SOLVED tach drops to 0 after ~4800 rpm car revs past it

yea thats what i was thinking. well on the old distributor the big blue wire coming from the distributor was cut so i guessed maybe that would solve the problem but it didnt work. i guess since the new distributor is for the 2000 integra not the b20 i guess maybe its programed differently? if not i...

jfelix: Not sure if this applies to you. If you have the b20 swap I wonder if this is already done. Trace the wires maybe?

Random RED led and stalls

Hi everyone, I've been having problems lately with my hondata, or at least I think it is the hondata. The car will work perfectly fine, then the engine just dies, and CEL goes on, and when I look at the hondata ECU I see a solid red LED. The rest of the car works, ie. blinkers, fuel pump priming, cr...
