I was using 1.1.0.7 - datalogs and MAPS both created on this version. Why would the new beta matter?

If you look at your fuel status in the datalogs you can see it is going in to open loop.
Um - no it isn't. Check log 80524 - at WOT it is still in closed loop, fuel status 2 so I'm not quite sure what you mean.

http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/fuel_status.htm?zoom_highlightsub=fuel%2Bstatus If you look at your fuel status in the datalogs you can see it is going in to open loop. It always says closed loop at WOT - perhaps I sent the wrong datalog (one from a base calibration where I DID see open loop a...

Do not use screen shots as they do not tell us anything. You have to post datalogs and calibratiosn. I was trying to illustrate that the short term trim was NOT 0% under WOT to confirm that the car was NOT going into opn loop. Regardless, here is the calibration...it won't let me attach the log, ev...

S-trim not going to 0% on WOT...so it's not going into open loop, correct?

AFM based? I'm definitely using a race calibration, based off of the MAP base for the K&N SRI.

Isn't the AFM only used for the IAT inside for MAP based race calibrations?

No, it's in open loop, it is just the fuel system status display is lagging. The easiest way to tell is when the short term fuel trim goes to 0% I thought with a MAP tune the fuel trims are always 0%...this custom tune by a local dyno tuner (Hondata authorized) is based off of the K&N SRI MAP t...

Closed Loop on WOT all the time?

So, I tuned out the few counts of knock and the car seems to run well... BUT - I just noticed something. I'm ALWAYS in closed loop on WOT in my tuners MAP and I can't figure out why... AFR under WOT and cruise are fine. What's going on? When I flash to a pre-loaded Hondata map, I'm in open loop unde...

Z1 Performance would you mind helping me out taking a look at a few of my data logs and tune to see where i need to make some adjustments. I'm admittedly a newb with this, but after some reading in Hondata's FlashPro help and some very useful information on the Kpro (from club RSX) I think I've got...

Success! After a 25 minute log with lots of varied driving, knock on the low cam is nearly eliminated from the previous changes.

I removed another degree of timing from 2750-3500rpm between -.9 and -3.5 on the 30 degree CAM angle as this was the only area I still saw a count or two of knock.

In reviewing some new logs, I can see a pattern... Looks like knock counts occuring in the 2000-3500 range (that is the lowest/highest rpm with added knock) at CAM angles 0 and 15 for MAP pressure -.9 to around -4.0 From what I now understand of the table columns, these MAP values are more accuratel...

Normally the cause of excessive knock (apart from discount fuel) is a SRI drawing hot air from under the hood. If this is un-avoidable with an SRI in hot weather, should this be an area of concern? Should these knock counts be worrisome? Also, Does the stock ECU exhibit the same symptoms with an SR...

Edit. Ok - confusion continues. I re-logged today. I did pull out 2 degrees from cam angles ), 15 and 30, from about 1750-3000rpm Map -5.5psi to -20.0 psi. From a few separate logs, this is where knock seemed to start in part throttle. I made a couple of full throttle logs from about 3000rpm up that...
