Re: ..

Otto, It is very hard to help you when you lie to us. First you tell us you have a supercharged Civic, then you tell us you have a damaged Ariel Atom engine, then you tell us you you are putting this into a Lotus. Then you tell us the engine is running with a Piassini programmed ECU, which we know d...

Somebody has reflashed my other ECU with Piassini. - The Piassini software / reflash is faulty (bad). - If you take a Piasini programmed ECU to Honda and they try and update it the ECU will stop working. - If you use the FlashPro with the incorrectly programmed ECU (Piassini) the ECU will stop work...

We are having a lot of difficulty understanding you. - What is the word "oder"? Do you mean other? - What other tool are you referring to? Who makes this tool? - 37820-RRB-A05 is not a new ECU. It is an old ECU found in a 2006 Civic Si. - We have no record of ECU serial number 3869 112301

The drop in fuel pressure does not overly concern me. Aftermarket return line systems are not as well sealed as a stock returnless. If your fuel pressure returns the maximum within two seconds of turning the ignition key on (priming the fuel system), and stays there while the engine is running or cr...

I see you have quite a number of changes to the fuel system. First: Fuel pressure: - Did the problems start with the installation of the return system and injectors? - Is Fuel pressure consistent throughout these problems? - What is the value of the pressure. - Where is the pressure being read from?...

Fuel Pressure on a US Civic is 53-54 PSI and doesn't vary by more than 2-3 PSI during a full throttle run on a naturally aspirated car. 90-100 % duty cycle on stock injectors with this 54 PSI naturally aspirated should be 30-40 HP peak over stock. On the Dynapack we test on we see 240-wheel HP at ab...

Your datalog shows that you hit 100% duty cycle at 6900 rpm. This should not happen on a naturally aspirated 2.0 litre car with stock injectors.

What are your bolt-ons?

Perhaps your fuel pressure is too low. Have you changed anything in this area? What is your fuel pressure?

Our enquiries lead us to believe that the RSP-E03 would be a direct replacement. The main differences between the RSP-E03 and RSP-N02 are that the RSP-E03 needs the VIN number programmed into it. You would need to check to see if your Honda dealer could program the VIN number. Alternatively you coul...

Re: BIG problem with fuel gauge after FP

The MAP based calibration is a Race calibration. It is not guaranteed that everything will work perfectly. If you tune with the MAF based calibration all your gauges will work correctly. With the FN2 we have been made aware of several instances of the fuel gauge reading irregularly and are looking i...

DBW error

U0170 is generated by the stock ECU which controls the drive by wire. The OBD II scan tool is connected to the stock ECU and not the K-Pro. Check the small drive by wire ECU connector is plugged in firmly and to the correct plug. The Boost-a-Pump testing was done with the pump permanently wired to r...

Re: Questions regarding Kraftwerks dual kpro cal

Change it to closed loop when you have the correct sensor installed.

The lower rev limit you referred to was for the reflash not the K-Pro. Feel free to drop the rev limit to 8200-8300. It will keep the Rotrex superchargers within their rated RPM range.

Well it would seem that the car's tach is incorrect (this is common). A datalogged value is more accurate than the tach. Under hard first or second gear operation it is common so see the rev limit overshoot by one or two hundred rpm. Hondata changes nothing to do with the water temperature operation...

At Kraftwerks request, the rev limit was changed to 8200 RPM some time ago. We have no idea as to the cause of the check light. You will need to connect a scan tool and read the code. The rev limit is lowered if the car is stationery or engine cold. Intake manifold Heat soak will mean the car cranks...
