While I appreciate the good suggestion, I cut the stock harness off and soldered the wires to the new one. Any other ideas?

Vacuum guage and computer don't match.

Really I've had this problem from the beginning. I have brand new Aeromotive vacuum/boost guage and my vacuum never seems to match my computer. Details: EBay purchased Motorola 3-bar MAP sensor. (3 prongs connected to stock map sensor wires) I can't remember what is wired where. Stock MAP sensor rem...

Update... I upgraded again to the newest version, and still same problem. I searched for Spunkster's calibration, and entered his values under the "rate of change" section and things are running much better now.

You have to change the "rate of change" section to substantially lower numbers. They must have changed this section in the newer versions. Don't just guess... find Spunkster's calibration and use his numbers.

I'm pissed they changed this and didn't tell anyone.

EDIT... I thought I had already upgraded to latest version of software but I was still on 1.4.5. I must've upgraded on my other laptop and not this one. I will reupload the new code and retest. I will repost when this is finished.

Sorry in advance.

Closed loop cruising AF jumping w/Datalog

So I had posted in another thread the problem I am having with closed loop where the car jumps between rich/lean but is fine in open loop. This problem happened when upgrading to latest version of SManager. (My older version was 2 or three versions old - upgraded last in August or September 09) The ...

I just did a couple of test drives and I am in fact having the same problem but only in closed loop. Everything was working fine before the upgrade to the newest version(s). My last update was before October 2009. My A/F ratios definately jump between richer and leaner while driving in closed loop o...

Just to get in on the subject... I am currently experiencing a similar problem that I am trying to narrow down. While I am at low load and slight throttle, my car slows/surges slightly and the air/fuel ratios go slightly richer, not leaner. I also don't have an older version of Smanager to test with.

I am using 32-bit and have tried running as an administrator like you suggested.

Also, just in case it matters, I am a Network/Systems Administrator and deal with computers every day for a living.

I did uninstall and reinstall, but same result. Which registry keys do you add to Vista so that after I redo the uninstallation, I can go back and take out those keys if your uninstall didn't take them all out? I uninstalled 1.4.7.0 and reinstalled 1.3.8 and that old version worked just fine. Then I...

I had to change it to 0 and 3 because it was still going off the chart. Now I see all vacuum and 20psi filling the whole graph correctly.

note: I hope this doesn't change my display settings in the "display" area with the guages.

Graph Display for MAP skewed...

So I'm looking over my datalogs and am looking at my Manifold Pressure (MAP) which are in "/psi. Under my "Sensors > MAP" I have the display min and max set to "0" and "20" respectively. However, when looking at my graph, although the left side of the graph shows 0...
