Re: Flex Fuel Sensor Compensation

I too felt like the stock values loaded in the ethanol fuel compensation (open loop) table were too lean for my setup. I adjusted mine as shown below. Honestly though, I haven't run 93 octane fuel in almost 2 years because I can always get E85. I have been on the dyno twice since the initial dyno t...

Re: Flex Fuel Sensor Compensation

Hi, I dump the Ethanol and top up 93 octane and noticed that all of my 93 octane cal. was way off from original. later on I checked my FPR and found that the FP dropped below 40 psi with no apparent reason, son I raise the FP to 43.5 and was almost back to what it was. had to twick it a bit tho. onc...

Re: Flex Fuel Sensor Compensation

I went for another test drive, At WOT I manage to bring the AFR very close to my AFR on 93 octane, I entered 87% on the openloop Table, I don't know if this alue is ok as long as it gets me back to my AFR or if this number is too high. Again I dialed in the idle but while driving it was too lean the...

Flex Fuel Sensor Compensation

Hi, Setup B18 Turbo tuned on 93 Octane, Hondata V3 white board I finally complete my 93 octane Tune and Switch to Ethanol. I'm using a Continental Flex Fuel sensor. while I was tuning with 93 octane I enabled the Ethanol sensor to check is it was reading or not and it showed 5% content which is abou...

Re: Leaning out of a sudden

My money is on the injectors being the issue. Spend the money and have them cleaned and flow tested before banging your head against the wall any further. Sorry for the late Update, You were right on the money, My brand new DW injectors were bad, I sent them back to them to have them tested and the...

Re: Analogue Board

I undertad now,

I wired in my Fuel Pressure sesnsor that required 0-5v, SIgnal to An1 and 0v to one of the grounds on the Analgue Bord, so it is ok,

What about the fuel Flex sensor can you ground it to the Analogue board as well? or that has to be grounded somewhere on the chassis?

Thanks a lot

Re: Analogue Board

Latest Version S300 V3,

That has the sub-harness for the analogue inputs, It has 2 grounds and the rest around 5-6 inputs for different sensors, So if one would like to ground straight to the board. how many sensors could you graound per each ground input?

Thanks

Analogue Board

Hello, I have installed my flex fuel sensor to the Analogue board, both the signal and the ground, I will add a Fuel pressure sensor as well, will ground it to this board too so as the signal to AN1, I can see there are a few inputs but only 2 grounds points, so my question is how many sensors can y...

Re: Voltage Differences

Good, it seems that you have improved things greatly. 0.5V drop from the battery to the ECU reading is normal. The main thing is the the voltage differences on the negative side. Hi, I know it has been a while ago just wanted to do an update, After I manage to clean all Grounds on the car, managed ...

Re: Leaning out of a sudden

Spunkster, I noticed that, but I think the boost is dropping due to lean condition and the engine chocking and this lean condition happens at different RPM sometimes as early as 4800 rpm and some other around 5500 rpm. I can see that reads in a different part of the map but those areas were tuned pr...

Leaning out of a sudden

Hi, I encountered a problem that doesn't seem to make much sense to me, I tuned my CRX LS Vtec Turbo low cam fuel and ignition map all good. So Opened up Vtec to tune high cam fuel. on waste gate spring around 7 psi all good hit my AFR Target 11.5 so then I proceed to enable boost control and set to...

Re: DeastchWerks 1300cc Injector Dead time

Why not use the built in dead times that we have tuned on the dyno? I tried them, Cold start got very rich in the 10's range, so pulled a lot of fuel after all ECt / IAT's compensation were at Zero, as it got to around 175-180 fuel trim was adding a lot of fuel back. So it's a bid odd that goes fro...

Re: DeastchWerks 1300cc Injector Dead time

Should I used the ones provided at the drop down menu even at 60 PSI base fuel pressure? though they were for 43 psi base fuel pressure.

DeastchWerks 1300cc Injector Dead time

Hi, I was looking at some post where you (Hondata) sugested that to set the Injector deadtime you normally drive on 4th gear and slowly deacrese the pedal input and watch what the closeloop value does. Well in my case it goes higher on the negative numbers. so slowly takes some fuel up to -12% or so...

Re: Voltage Differences

It's bee a long while but got an update. What I did was cleaning all my Grounds so as body to bare metal. relocated valve cover ground to stud as you suggested. I did all the vltage drop test and now is much better, voltage at the alternator is 14.0v - 14.1v reported voltage by Smanager is 13.7v - 1...
