Re: Closed loop glitch?

I even have a toggle switch to turn on onboard logging and I didn’t think to turn it on which was dumb. Hopefully don’t see this again but if I do will flip the switch.

Closed loop glitch?

Had a strange occurrence today. I don’t have any logs or any of that and I hope I can’t repeat it because that would indicate there is some sort of problem that isn’t a glitch. What happened was after some aggressive driving which involved some wheel hop (despite traction bar) which is always a bit ...

Advanced protection strategies and oil pressure

I figured since the feature is there might as well make use of it, especially since the stock dummy light doesn’t really do the job well. Since factory spec is at least 50psi at 3k rpm I figured I’d set the advanced protection to trigger at 45psi at 3k rpm to give it some wiggle room. I figure if it...

iOS app bug fix request

I assume it’s not only me but the iOS app will never reconnect to to my s300 v3 without a force close of the app first. It’s just annoying and seems like something that could and should be fixed if this app is being maintained. What I have to do to work with the app is when I shut off the car I need...

Re: A few questions before buying / install

So it does not depend on the Brake switch input being stock/operable to be able to distinguish when brakes are being depressed?

A few questions before buying / install

1) I've already re-purposed the brake switch input for something else, will this be an issue for traction control to function properly? 2) Given it's a front-wheel-drive car is there a need to hook up the rear wheel sensors up to the unit? What purpose do they serve? I think it may be so the system ...

Re: Rev limit question

Did not realize that lifting off the throttle had the effect of resetting the advanced protection. For some reason I though the 2k rpm limit on the injectors remained until the car is shut off. If that’s the case then it would work effectively as a slap on the wrist and solve the problem albiet less...

Firmware release notes?

Are there release notes for the firmware? I see a new firmware v11 was released recently. Where can I see what's been changed?

Re: Where tap ignition 1 signal?

It turns out this can be done but involves a bit of math. An injector pulse signal can be used instead of an ignition signal however that injector pulse must be timed between when cylinder #1 is between 20-90 degrees BTDC, or in other words that injector has to be firing at about the same time the s...

Turned out it was a firmware update on the Plex, they sent new firmware, works now.

Re: CAN output, where have I gone wrong?

The issue must be on the Plex side then. Is there anything relevant to the s300 or the wiring you can think of that would cause an issue in the datastream such that the RPM signal would go through But the Load signal would not?

Digital Ground?

Just noticed there is a pin for "Ground" on the digital connector on the s300. I'm only digital feature I'm using is the CAN output function using Hondata Protocol. Should I be connecting this Ground pin to something? The Other CAN device I'm using to read the CAN output is a Plex Knock Mo...

CAN output, where have I gone wrong?

See attached. I've attempted to setup my Plex Knock Monitor to receive RPM and Load via the s300's CAN output. It does successfully receive RPM however it gets nothing for Load. Mostly I'm trying to determine if the issue is with the Plex or with the s300 where I need to correct a setting. Under par...
