Re: Hondata COP cutting out at high rpms

A diagram is not needed. Wire the switch wire for the relays to a power source that stays on while cranking. The main power wire should connect to the battery or strong power source.

Re: Hondata COP cutting out at high rpms

Unsplice the wires. And yes it worked for me and others I suggested it to.

Re: Hondata COP cutting out at high rpms

I ran power from the battery to a relay. 1 relay for coils and the other for the box. Just don't splice into the ECU power or ground. I know the directions say to splice into the ecu wires, but to hell with the directions.

Re: Hondata COP cutting out at high rpms

If it's cutting out at high RPM, it's probably not receiving enough power to the CPR box or coils. I'd suggest not wiring your CPR kit power and ground according to the instructions. Give the box and coils a nice strong power source.

Re: Using Dakota SGI-5E to convert rear wheel speed signal

Can one of the square-wave-pulse output from the traction control device be used to run the speedometer or ECU?

Using Dakota SGI-5E to convert rear wheel speed signal

Hondata, Can I use the SGI-5E to convert the rear wheel speed signal, that's feeding the traction control unit, to run the speedometer and ECU? I have the S300V3 in a 2000 Honda civic Si with stock cluster and P28ECU. Links to the device below. http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=produ...

Re: CPR Problem at 8,000 RPM turbo 737hp

Well, there goes another one. My CPR works properly when it feels like. I've been posting about this forever with no solution. I've tried everything I could think of to fix the problem. I've just learned to deal with it as there is no help in the near future. I know a lot of folks with break-up issu...

Re: CPR Hard Start, back fires, and random misfire

Hondata, what wiring harness are you using? What is the number stamped on the board for you ECU? What distributor are you running? Just asking because everyone's CPR works on your car. I'm willing to try anything to get my car running right.

Re: CPR Hard Start, back fires, and random misfire

I've complained over and over about this, and so have others, and all I got was that the problem is not the product. So now that Locash is saying the same thing you guys now listen. That is absolutely not fair to the customer. I've swapped ecu after ecu and the random misfire is still happening. 2 d...

Re: Cpr issues

Can someone post the numbers stamped on the ecu boards that eliminated the hiccups? I also tried a different ecu, with different number, and I still had the same problem.

What is the number on the board for the ecu that created the hiccup, and what's the number for the ecu that eliminated the hiccup?

Re: Cpr issues

Considering dead times will likely affect idle and part throttle more than full load, I wouldn't rule it out until proven otherwise. The reason I said that I do not think it has to do with injector dead time is that, when I cruise, voltage doesn't change. It stays constant. I could understand if th...

Re: Cpr issues

I highly doubt that it has to do with the dead times. But if that fixes you're problem, let us know.
