Re: Hondata stock tune knock

i just looked over your datalog and not to talk shit but if you were in my Car - and doing 60 mph, in 6th gear at 2500 rpm and floor it. I would smack you up side your head, because 1 the car can not sustain a load like that without Tuning - also it won't retard the ignition for stupidity. Do not F...

Re:

pavement conditions have effect on the knock sensor count, it sometimes give false knock I was on smooth roads. In fact, one was a new road. Wish it could be that simple in my case. Even 93 octane didn't stop it. :( I am a bit disappointed in the stock tune which Hondata provides. Don't get me wron...

Hondata stock tune knock

2007 Civic Si - completely stock Flashpro version 1.1.5.6 Hondata “Stock tune” calibration 92 octane (Top Tier) I am seeing knock on the “stock tune” calibration. I loaded the “stock tune” and let it idle for awhile and then shut it down. Then I fired it back up and took it for a drive to do some da...

Is there any chance the Flash Pro could be compatible with a 2005 Acura TL 6 speed?

Thanks

Knock boards are tuned for a specific frequency for the engine that ecu was originally designed. For instance if you have an H22 and are using a knock board that was for a b16a it may register more noise than there actually is. So is there anyway to get the knock board to work correctly with forged...

Do you have forged pistons? Those could cause a false knock. I had the same problem with my 12:1 comp. The car was tuned on the dyno with 92 octane and the knock sensor disabled. No apparent problems. On the street with the knock sensor enabled I noticed it indicated random knock. I tired 100 octane...

So you actually did a free air recalibration by taking the O2 sensor out of the exhaust...that's good. :) I noticed my car could sit for over a day and the O2 sensor will still notice some fuel. I had a similar problem with my LM-1 unit and contacted Innovate. I sent it in and they replaced my O2 se...

Just saying somethign is in columns 2-3 or 3-4 dowesn't really tell us anything unless you tell us what the actual vacuum reading is at idle. Thanks Spunkster? that is a good point. My column 3 = 281 mbar and my column 4 = 406 mbar with the vacuum unit set to ?absolute.? When I changed the setting ...

Mine still idles in columns 3-4 as well. I have cleaned the IACV, adjusted the TPS, tried a different MAP sensor, etc. Looking back at my datalogs I noticed that past 3000 rpms, when I let off that throttle, it will go to columns 1-2. But once it hits around 1000-1500 rpms it idles in columns 3-4 ag...

EVAP wiring for ?98 D16Y7 swapped to ?97 B18C with s300

Getting confused after looking at all the schematics for my 1998 Civic DX while comparing to the B18C1 OBD1 schematics. I am using a 1998 Civic EVAP solenoid. I have a 1997 B18C (JDM GSR) converted to OBD1, running the S300 in a P72 ecu. The problem is that my car idles in columns 3 and 4, as well a...
