Re: Fuel Status 8 Error occurring Accord 2018 Stage3 Hondata tune

Does the error always come with the P0304 misfire in cylinder #4 code as in the datalog you posted?

Re: 2018 Accord Re-calibrate for 17 inch to 18 inch wheels

Hi Shim, The difference between your tire sizes is only 4/10". Your 17's are 25.9" OD and the 18's are 26.3". Looking through the 2018 Accord file I don't see anywhere to adjust for speedo accuracy like in older ECU's. Not sure how accurate these online conversion calculators are, but it shows a 1.1...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Hi Brian, Sorry I missed your post today. Very interesting, the car went lean again in the WOT pulls, yet your idle looked normal. We'll have to keep an eye on that. I made a few spot changes where I could. We need to find a way for you to email me the datalogs so I can get them in full size. I am t...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Sounds good! Yeah the cam angles make all the difference. I always tell people on the lower cam angles to be patient and get through these lower cam angles and then the fun begins as we move up in angle.

Let me know how it goes.

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

That one looked killer Brian, it looks like the 40* is your max efficiency. I think we can switch to what I refer to as a "blended" file where the cam angles are blended and smoothed out. I based the cam angle map on the fueling in that last datalog. I think these will maximize your efficiency, but ...

Re: Looking to buy Flash Pro carb couple questions

Not to step on any toes in here, Hondata is giving you some good info. If you don't live in a state like California with very strict emissions laws, I would recommend getting a standard Flashpro. The CARB one will only benefit you if that is the case. Otherwise I would recommend the standard one as ...

Re: Fuel table and injector size trouble

Do you have any datalogs you can post that show the issue, and can you post the calibration you're on so we can look it over?

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Hey Brian, The fourth gear fueling looked excellent, so I am going to say that angle is finished. I went in and made some changes to the low cam angle map. Partly to smooth out your vtec transition, but to try and smooth everything out for you. Feel free to take a look at it and let me know if you h...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Hi Brian, I am still searching for some consistency. That one was a little rich, lean before vtec though. Let's give Rev11 a try and see how it looks. Can you also make a datalog from part throttle stop and go driving as well. I am curious how the part throttle fueling looks as well. Let me know. Br...

Sounds good. It should look pretty good and hopefully your value changes work like you hope.

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Yeah that is why I would recommend third gear for the pull. Little safer MPH and easier to fit into the drive. Sounds good to me. Yeah honestly I don't know about some tuners man. I know my limits and don't claim to be anything I'm not, but some of the tunes I have seen from "dyno tuners" make me wo...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Yeah perhaps. See if you can make the WOT hit around 2000rpm in third so I can see the fueling a little better before you hit vtec. It looks like it's a touch lean right before vtec, and the transitional fueling may be part of the what was a lean scenario, and now a rich scenario. As I mentioned bef...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Definitely a lot more consistent. A little lean in some areas, and a little rich off the hit. I made some changes to it, take this one for a spin. It is named Rev10 because I had a Rev09, but we will not be using it as it is no longer relevant since the IAC issue. I think one more on the 30* cam and...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

No problem, I think we're back on track again which is exciting. I love cars that are consistent and clean up nice, which yours is both. Oh and Brian, try and throw in at least one WOT pull in third or fourth gear from a low rpm. Some data cells didn't populate because the pull was in second. Try to...

Re: Need some more experianced help - Datalog is LEAN

Hi Brian, Definitely looks like we're back on track. Glad that was a simple fix. Go ahead and throw Rev07 in there and let's see how it looks. The fueling in the "redux 6" looks very similar to the original Rev06 datalog. So the changes in rev07 should be really close. Take Rev07 for a trip to Mexic...
