Re: +9 PSI CEL Flashing

I have a 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport 6MT with a Mishimoto intake and was using the +9 psi Mishimoto intake calibration for a few weeks with no issues. One day I was merging onto the highway when my engine cut power and the check engine light started flashing. I pulled over and checked the Hondata ap...

Re: Part Throttle Knock Count HONDATA FLASHPRO

So, after a few test drive and datalog. Here is my conclusion. There really seems to be a fake knock happening at around 1300rpm on the 1.5T cvt which makes the k.control and k.count bump. I noticed it even during deccel, heavy vacuum, 0 %TP. and no load on engine. You can see the k.control jump. I ...

Re: Part Throttle Knock Count HONDATA FLASHPRO

Sorry for bringing up an old thread. I've noticed we are on the same both after updating to the latest FP version(3.5.x.) Similar issue wherein k.control will bump up on the 1300rpm area during light load on our 1.5T bonestock CVT. Haven't notice that on my previous FP version 2.8.x. I noticed you l...

Re: FlashProManager V3.5.6

We've made no changes to knock control logic. Thanks! I'll try to change gas station then. Fuel is sitting for 3months in the car as well and is not helping. I'll report back my findings. Hi! I've tried other fuel from other gas station(100RON,) yet problem still persisted. Attached are my logs fro...

Re: FlashProManager V3.5.6

Hi! Been 2yrs since I last fiddled with my FP. Version was still 2.8.6 before I updated to v3.5.6 just this week and made myself busy doing some quarantuning! Basically, rechecking my tunes. Lol. Quick question, is there a big difference between v2.8.6 k.control algorith vs. the v3.5.6? The only thi...

Re: FlashProManager V3.0.1

Hello, I'm running version 2.9.5.0 right now for my 2006 Civic SI. While there have been no changelog updates for the vehicle, every version released says the firmware on the flashpro module is updated. Does the firmware update only include the changes indicated in the changelog, or are there "unde...

Re: Advice for Road Racing - Knock Control

You have to determine first your desired power level. Say 250whp, then you have to answer; Does my IAT, ECT, Oil and K.Count stabilizes after 5 hot laps or so? If one or two items go up, then you have to solve that area. One thing to note though that the smallish TD03 turbo efficiency map is way out...

Re: Advice for Road Racing - Knock Control

My worriness scale in order of importance for road racing. 1. IAT - especially at high boosts, either get a big intercooler, get more airflow thru the grille or just lower the boost to be safe. 2. ECT and Oil temp - it'll go up with time and boost and outside temp. More airflow, bigger rad/oil coole...

Re: AntiLag

On my bonestock 1.5T with just a +6psi hondata tune, i got 9ish AFR. My friend used a X intake specific +6psi Hondata tune since He got this X specific intake installed in his car, and guess what? Same 9ish AFR. Atleast check your AFR and AFM cals. If you cheapened out on these things... All I can s...

Re: AntiLag

Any update on the antilag feature? @Hondata Also when do you guys plan on releasing the new PRL CAI calibration update? We need to clear this up... 1. What do you mean by "ANTI-LAG?" - Please explain your expectations... Don't wait for any "mods" specific calibration. The best way is to do a custom...

Re: 2017 Civic SI low HP and TQ on + 6 Flash

janemar, on the 1.5 turbo engines our basemaps are very well tuned and work well. We do tune on 91 octane so there are some gains from using higher octane fuel, and as always with a turbo engine, you can always run more boost, but the basemaps are not far from optimum. Based on my personal experien...
