changing max boost amount in graph window
Is there any way to change the max boost setting in the graph when viewing a datalog? it's set to 100 psi so barley even shows as a blip of a line when viewing on the graph. Thanks

Re: quick spool/ activation pressure
That depends on the state of your solenoid then. My Macs for whatever reason is normally closed at rest. So until activation pressure or quick spool is turned on it's in the same state.
But I see now how if the wastegate is normally open they would serve different functions. Thanks

quick spool/ activation pressure
aren't they essentially the same thing just that one can be mapped to gears.

Re: Unable to run pass through with PWM and MAC solenoid
i can remove the controller and put in a splice and it runs wastegate spring.

Re: Unable to run pass through with PWM and MAC solenoid
Yes. It's out putting commanded PWM. But it's switched from what it is supposed to be.

Re: Unable to run pass through with PWM and MAC solenoid
Yes, I understand open and close are inverse of each other. but what does that have to do with the pulse width being sent from the ecu? 80 percent is either 80 percent open or close. That arrangement is defined within the parameters of the pressure vs. duty cycle map. Why does the selectoion matter?...

Re: Unable to run pass through with PWM and MAC solenoid
I'm curious. Why is that even a definable option in smanager ? What difference does it make to the software? If duty cycle is a mapped by the user to a given boost amount, then why would it matter if the ecu knew what state the solenoid was in at rest. Or where maximum boost was.

Unable to run pass through with PWM and MAC solenoid
With the mac solenoid hooked up and running at any tested (so far) PWM/hz combo I can't get the gate to open under any setting. I have checked my basics. The solenoid is new. It operates at different frequency ranges with different test out put settings. and I have it plummed correctly (1 from press...

Boost cut issues
I have what should be a simple problem that i'm stumped on. I'm hitting boost cut at normal operating temps under close to 10lbs. I have the cold cut set to 9 psi but the car is warmed up so I shouldn't be hitting it. my hot is at 20 psi so I'm no where near it. I checked my protection maps and they...

Relationship between IGN controlled idle and IAC valve
I'm curious can someone definitely say the difference between the IAC control and ignition control idle. I haven't found anything that explains exactly how they work with each other. In other words do they both seek to correct idle independently of each other or is it a master slave scenario? The He...

Re: Engine dies whenever throttle pressed
I had the exact same problem and as everyone else, and got the exact same fix as well. I spoke with the tuner and reuploading the original map did the trick. What is weird is that I tried running a stock map and copying the tables. This should have solved the problem in that I was running a base map...

Re: S300 won't idle after Flash
it was a tuning issue all along. He fattened it way up and it holds an idle. I have some other issues that I would like to make a post about however it no longer pertains to the issue I currently have so for the sake of clarity I am going to call this one solved thank you for your help.

Re: S300 won't idle after Flash
So, I wanted to update in hopes new info might help diagnosis. I attempted your test and a base config with the calibrations changed for injector size did not seem to help. This may be due to the vehicle running on E85 though. I spoke with the turner and he sent me over the map he left the car with....
