You get the discount when you upgrade an already flashed ECU. Otherwise everyone would swap ECUs with their friends and get a discount.

It uses the standard tables plus the long term O2 corection and constanty adjsuts based on the short term O2 calculations. So after some period of time at the same RPM in closed loop your fueling should be fine. Make sure your maps are very close to perfect around the idle area. Otherwise your long ...

Will K-pro RSX-S ECU work in an Element?

I was wondering if I got an Element and a swapped in the head and ECU from an RSX type S, would there be any issues? I would think the engine would be fine but what about multiplexer stuff (if any)? Any other 'gotchas'?

Imobilizer and ecu swapping

If I get the K-pro with a new ECU (the $1595 option) will the imobilizer still work? Can I then freely swap out the two and still have the imobilizer working?

Better yet. Use the pocket PC as a configurable gauge. Choose an parameter or two then let it display it and either analog gauge style or digital read out. It's easier to put a PDA where you can see it high on the dash than a laptop.

Yes. It really doesn't affect anything since most people don't run 12 psi at 1000 RPM.

I was just bringing it's behaviour to others attention.

The following uses a P28 as an example. To make it simpler I'll make colum 10 = 0 psi and B13 = 12 psi. OK, Lets say we have a cell in one of the timing tables. And lets say that this cell is located at XXX RPM and in colum 10 (wich is close to 0 psi relative to atmosphere). If the value of the cell...

You can manualy enter negative numbers. The values are not absolute. They are relative. So setting your base timing setting in ROMEditor to a very low number will not change the timing. It will reduce the displayed value by the same amount. Does that then make all of the negative numbered cells inva...

No negative timing numbers from Create Boost Table wizard

I have noticed a bug/feature in the Create Boost Tables wizard regarding timing. It won't set any cells to a negative number. So if the last non-boost cell is a negative number (ex. -4.00) and your settings for the wizard should produce a slightly larger but still negative number (ex. -2.25) the wiz...
