Re: Switch Module LED Colour

Use the TC software and you will see any errors.

Re: Tapping into rpm

This is the CAN output: http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/can_output.htm DBW throttles do not use the 0-5V linear output like cable throttles. They have two outputs which are offset by 1.5V or so. That is not going to work with the ECU. It's up to you to work out a converter or some sort. Same wi...

Re: Installing Hondata Mobile on your 10th gen Civic radio/navi

I'm not sure if you are asking if the FlashPro can connect to the ECU via BT. The FlashPro has to be connected to the OBDII port in order for the HU to connect to the ECU. And for the HU use the Android app for the HU, not the app for phones. https://www.hondata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=21...

Re: Slow to build boost

Different starting rpm range for each pull and different gears. Boost is high and ignition timing is low so it might be better with less boost and more ignition timing.

Re: 2020 FK8 oil pressure

Every FK8 has an oil pressure sensor. It seems that the Euro FK8 may have a temperature sensor. The US/Canada vehicles do not.

Re: Flex fuel sensor

More or less they are frequency to voltage converters with a buffered output (not duty to voltage or 'voltage converter'). It has to cope with the error frequency. If you go this route it depends on how good you are with electronics and how much time you want to spend getting it to work.

Nope, it means the intake has altered the flow past the AFM.

Re: traction control with hall effect sensors

Double check the wheel speed + wires are getting pulled to +12V by the pull up resistors. Do this with a multimeter probing inside the TC enclosure. Be careful not to short anything. Also check the wheel speed - wires are 0V and staying there. Hard to probe those as they are on the bottom.

Re: Fk8 2017 uploading error

It's a new ECU binary that is not yet supported (5BF-E04).

Luckily the binary is very close to the E03 and will not take long to add support - 2 weeks I think.

Re: MTX-D EThanol Sensor input reading high!

Change the voltage from 0V 5V until the reading matches the gauge. Sometimes 0.4V 4.8V works - it depends on the gauge. The issue is that the ECT2 ECU input has a pull up resistor, and ethanol gauges have a varying amount of current they are happy to sink, so the ECU voltage does not match what the ...
