Re: Wheel Sensor DIY For Non ABS Vehicles?

Spunkster.... He said to use a single WSS (on a back/non-driven wheel) then utilize the VSS to monitor front wheel speed.... I dont see a reason why this couldn't be integrated. Seem MUCH simpler than running an extra (or 2) front WSS when the factory VSS can be applied to all vehicles (both ABS and...

Re: ITB's + Alpha-N tune = delete map sensor?

I havent dabbled around with alpha-n too much. Map signal reference accuracy isnt crucial for mapping at all, but some kind of map signal is still required for other parameters such as closed loop, vtec, overrun fuel cut/resume, lean protection, etc.

Re: 2500 RPM Rev Limit w/ s300

Parameter tab-->Vtec--> check mark "disable spool error check".

Check all launch control, Full throttle shift, rev limits tabs and their settings to make sure you're not triggering a limiter

Re: Launch Control Wiring with Clutch switch

...yes. If you look in the "launch control" tab, then look at the "activation" options, you can choose different inputs. I used to leave it on all the time. If you set the mph to something low like 6-10mph, you can leave it always on..... just dont launch it at ever stop light

Re: Launch Control Wiring with Clutch switch

the brake switch input is the only available (extra) input that can receive 12v+ for triggering IIRC. The other inputs trigger off ground. I trigger my launch control with 12v+ into the brake swtich.... granted I use it for a form of rolling antilag triggering it with my washer switch.

Re: Closed Loop Mysteries

Dialing in deadtimes is similar to ecmlink (v3), but with more than one point (which v2/2.5 only has q). Set-up your voltage points to where the car will normally run (like11.2, 11.9, 12.5, 13.2,13.8, 14.2, 15.0), instead of what you have (0, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 24)....when do you ever run 0,8,16,or ...

Re: Closed Loop Mysteries

Did you set base timing? Dial in your afr's in open loop and get them as close to where you want them. Then enable closed loop. I tend to use a small min/max trim settings (around -5/+10). I also use my wideband input for closed loop operations. try lowering both of your fast rate of changes into th...
