Re: Android applications

hondata can you update the android app and add in the ethanol content % and fuel temperature sensor monitoring in the gauge window?
thanks and keep up the awesome work guys!

Re: Flex fuel

ok I see it now, I don't have to change over after all as hondata have added in fuel temp and ethanol % in the latest beta update! thank you so much hondata!

Re: Flex fuel

I too have set it up like you, resistor inline, using the digital s300v3 AN0 route but just realized that I cannot monitor ethanol content % and fuel temp. So I have decided to change over to using a "ethanol content analyzer" and ordered a ZEITRONIX ECA-2 kit with the E% gauge which has 2...

Re: Flex fuel

jdelcorte: if you use the s300 v3 AN0 digital input option for your flex fuel sensing, you cannot view ethanol content % and fuel temperature while data logging. and NO, you do not need to set anything in "parameters", "analog inputs" if you are using the digital option. leave it...

Re: Flex fuel sensor custom input conversion values

one last question that I'm unsure about is, am I able to use it as a digital ethanol content analyzer input to compensate for fuel \ignition but at the same time using it as an analog input to data log/view ethanol content percentage in the fuel???

Re: Flex fuel sensor custom input conversion values

I need the conversion rate so I can data log ethanol content. ive already set it to 'Digital S300 AN0' in flex fuel tab for compensation.
I think 0 volt = 0% & 5 volt = 100% is correct values for accurate data logging anyways. I 'll figure it out, thanks heaps

Re: Flex fuel sensor custom input conversion values

so in parameters, analog inputs, I leave analog0 as unused?
will it still show up in "display" window and display ethanol %?

Re: Flex fuel sensor custom input conversion values

the 2 fuels i'll be using is
1 : premium ULP - which here in Australia has no ethanol in it at all
2 : E85 - 85% ethanol & 15% ULP

Flex fuel sensor custom input conversion values

hi,
I've got a s300 v3 and have a GM flex sensor connected up, I have set up analog0 input to custom and the type to percent.
what is the right custom input settings, for this to work and data log correctly? For example ; 0 volt = 0 percent / 5 volt = 100 percent.

Re: TPS range meant to be set at 0.45v or 0.50v for closed throttle position? (zero % tps)

then double check that with Throttle Body closed, the data log is showing TPS throttle angle % is at "0 %"
and Throttle body fully open it shows TPS throttle angle % is at "100 %"

Re: TPS range meant to be set at 0.45v or 0.50v for closed throttle position? (zero % tps)

with the key switched to ignition, (Ignition on car off)press F10 to datalog, go in parameters, TPS tab, go down to "scale TPS", press MIN reading % button with TB close, then push pedal all the way down and press MAX reading % button. Upload and save calibration.

Re: Open loop on E85 issue going lean when Tipping Throttle

Not always, but sometimes you may be required to upgrade components of your ignition system to also cope with E85 as the colder burning fuel requires more ignition energy to ignite. (alcoholic fuels are harder to burn / ignite than unleaded fuels)
