Re: Power source for A12 Fan signal

No problem, post back with your results. Good luck! Just out of curiosity, why did you opt to put the relay on the ground side rather than the positive as shown in the wiring schematic? Do you have the stock source powering (+) the fan (ie the factory wiring and thermo switch) and are using the rela...

Re: Changing dead times on a pretty much finished tune?

Here is another guide though I haven't had the time to play with mine yet. https://www.hondata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=21081 Thank you, I read through it and the advise given somewhat mirrors the information I have found. I'll give that a shot and see what happens. Thanks again, -Ryan

Re: Power source for A12 Fan signal

I would start by looking at the ground side of everything to make certain that all your connections are clean and solid. Unless there was a total failure with the relay (which I have never seen) I'd bet the ecu is fine.

Re: Power source for A12 Fan signal

Does anyone know if this is a safe source to run power into A12 to switch on my relay? You really should post exactly how you have it wired. "Similar" to the diagram you posted above is not good enough, we need to know exactly how it is wired in order to give good advice. As long as you h...

Re: Changing dead times on a pretty much finished tune?

Thanks for the reply and yes the username was correct, cheers!! Anyhow, The injector dead times are very low (BTW the ID supplied dead times are also very low). Increasing them will add fuel. So basically opposite of how I understood it, this is good to know. Would you recommend that I go even highe...

Re: Possible Rolling Anti lag/launch control Setup?

You mentioned the clutch switch, Hondata doesn't list that as an option. I meant the actual switch that is mounted above the clutch pedal. Most cars use it for the cruise control. I'm glad you were able to get it all sorted. Sometimes reading things are waaaay more confusing than just getting into ...

Re: Possible Rolling Anti lag/launch control Setup?

Seems to me that as long as you use a +12v or ground (depending which ecu input you choose) using the washer stalk as the switch that's all there is to it. No different than wiring it to the traditionaly located clutch switch.

Re: AFR not following tuned tables

Your lambda reading does not look correct. For instance, at 7:03 when you are off the throttle and the injectors have shut down, then AF should be infinite, but rather it shows 14.77:1 A wideband offset of -0.35 volts indicates a wideband ground problem, but it seems that the problem is something m...

Re: AFR not following tuned tables

So I was thinking about this today and if I am correct, when running in open loop the AFR is solely determined by the set fuel tables. Only in closed loop does the ecu target a specific AFR and adjusts accordingly based on the input from the desired O2 sensor. If all of the above is true, I have no ...

Re: AFR not following tuned tables

Can someone please inform me how to post a datalog/calibration file?

Figured out how to attach a datalog/calibration and posted above. Any help would be appreciated.

AFR not following tuned tables

I am having an issue where it doesn't seem that my AFR is following the open loop tuned boost tables. I've included a datalog to show. I am still very green when it comes to tuning but am learning as I go. The car was tuned by a reputable local shop and I have only changed small things such as the l...

Re: I need a PLX wideband refresher

Thank you. I have read so many different threads on the topic I was having a hard time keeping it all straight. I will just leave it wired as is and run it that way. My only other question would be, should I leave the stock o2 plugged in or should I unplug it? Will the ecu even look for the stock si...

I need a PLX wideband refresher

What's up guys? I have been away from the hobby for a bit and have recently started working on my car again. I am just finishing up a rewire and tuck and need to verify my PLX wideband wiring. The setup is an S300 P28. Let the dead horse beating begin!!! Before the rewire the PLX was wired as follow...
