Re: FD2R JAPAN SPEC ABNORMAL TIMING RETARD
use this. Should solve most problems associated with the tune. I look through your tune. Your tuner only does the fuel and ign maps. Please do not disable knock control. I notice your knocks control is disabled. I enable it back. Thanks Bro Skier for your tune. Turns out to be a faulty knock sensor...

Re: FD2R JAPAN SPEC ABNORMAL TIMING RETARD
normally, when we first start using flashpro, the knocks appear in cyl 2 and 3. for your case, its only appearing in cyl 3. did you install hard mounts or ETD? if not and the knock retard still appear in cyl 3 after RTS, i suggest you check ur engine by a competent mechanic. it may be mechanically ...

Re: FD2R JAPAN SPEC ABNORMAL TIMING RETARD
If you datalog from a return to stock calibration you will always show zero knock count, as the stock ECU does not have the logic to count knocks. Which means that I might be experiencing knocks even when I am on stock Honda map especially when K control is hovering between 95-100%? What could be t...

that because 1.4.7 still need some correction after their new complier. its normal for BETA programs to have some bugs, especially when switching compilers. this is already mentioned. that why I'm still using 1.4.1. only recently i have upgraded to 1.5 which is so far so good I tuned my own car.. m...

Re: FlashPro V1.5.0 (beta)
Just a comment on this as a developer of software myself, it seems the term beta has completely lost it's meaning. Being that using beta versions of software makes you a beta tester, you should expect things to break sometimes with the plus side of getting features faster than they are released in ...

Re: Beta 1.47 abnormal engine retard for JDM FD2 Type R
Have you uploaded your calibration using 1.4.7? The knock ignition limit is -6 degrees on the high cam, so I'd expect to see at least 6 degrees of retard in those places. Any help from the Hondata team? I am getting 6 degrees retard even at the low cams while cruising at below 3000 rpm and my AF ra...

Re: Beta 1.47 abnormal engine retard for JDM FD2 Type R
Btw, is there anyway I can revert back to version 1.3x firmware on my flashpro? With 1.47 on the FP I can only use 1.47 calibrations. I would prefer to revert back to previous versions until the issues are resolved.
Many thanks

Yes, I have downloaded and uploaded the calibration as 1.47. Previously while on 1.3x my engine suffers no such issues. This pro...

Beta 1.47 abnormal engine retard for JDM FD2 Type R
Hi Hondata, I have been facing huge ignition retard issues since I started using the latest firmware on the flashpro with timing retard going at high as 6 degrees. Previously I was on version 1.3x and my vehicle was not facing any such issues at all. I have attached my datalog and calibration for yo...
