EU Manual CR-Z 2010 lambda failure
Hello, I see regular P1157 code error, and it is impossible to have a lambda reading. It starts by giving good information at engine start, but soon it indicate overly lean condition and drop into error + P1157 + orange "check engine" light is on. I don't understand why/how but the engine ...

Re: CR-Z Gear ratio calibration
I understand that IMA command is in another ecu.
Obd2 datalog finds 3 different can bus informations for rpm that start to be diffrent as soon as you put a modified final gear.
The autor of harris lap timer was very puzzled an gave up on this.

E85 job problems.
Hello; A friend had his European FN2 type R converted to E85 fuel. The modifications are : using FlashPro. 550cc fuel injectors. it is otherwise full stock. I suggested him to do some datalogs of the real stock Honda engine working, start/stop, cold start/stop, normal driving from hot 20mn, normal d...

Re: CR-Z Gear ratio calibration
There are still 2 problems with IMA : - rev limited to 7100. - changing final gear suppress regenerative braking. Also gears are not reported acurately in catalogs, and I think this part is easy to fix,but that is not the most important. The problem is the car regenerate less electric power and I fe...

Re: CR-Z Gear ratio calibration
Datalogging reports stange gear (roughly 1,2,3,4,4,5) but 3 4 and 5 are juming back and forth with the next gear. The petrol engine works fine; but on the CR-Z this little problem cascade onto the IMA not regenerating power on the brakes. (this last line is MY hypothesis) M-Factory did not answer me...

Re: Gears not sowing properly on datalogs.
Here is my conversation on the Harry's Lap Timer forum about OBD queries and answers using GoPoint GL1 cable and also BT1A device with iphone 5c and the app wich can send xml datalogs by email. (I have one xml datalog available if you wish to take a look I can send by email) The dialog seen in the l...

Re: Gears not sowing properly on datalogs.
If we solve this calculated gear issue, I think that will de facto solve the ima issue.
I have tried Harry's lap timer and in that app I setup all the gears ratios, it now shows me correct gears.

Re: Gears not sowing properly on datalogs.
I have searched again in the books (for US version) that I have. (I have an EU vehicle - it has some differences, but transaxle is unlikely) gearbox, differential, clutch : found no evidence. there is just a reverse lock, witch sense speed, a reverse light swich, and a neutral swich. in the IMA moto...

Gears not sowing properly on datalogs.
Hello, I just changed on my 2010 CRZ the final drive. ( M-Factory 4.9 ) it looks like the flash pro record wrong gear number ; something like 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5 and it is sometimes hesitating to register the gear, it oscillate btw two different gears while in gear. is this something we did wrong when ...

ECU general questions
looking for tips regarding the IMA limited rev / temp error message on the dash : here is what i found : Making a quick visit to the high revs does not lead to any error, (2nd gear no problem) however taking the time to push 3rd gear lead to the error, which gives no DTC and disappear after like 30 ...

Re: Spark plugs !!!
sadly no, i have neither flow tested injector nor done leakdown. (will try and do that when i can)
would be great to have one lambda per cylinder...
the only thing i can say is that the car emit absolutely no smoke nor smell.
ans it runs fine both pull and sound.

Re: Spark plugs !!!
Here is a new shot of the spark plugs in the right order
plugs are new + 1000 km.
please write if the folowing is ok :
1 - ok = 0
2 - ok = 0
3 - a little lean = +5 % ?
4 - rich = -10 % ?
do you think i can go for those values in fuel cylinder trim ?
