Adding a flex fuel sensor

Is there any circuitry in the RSX ECU that could beused with a flex fuel sensor? Such as::Fuel Composition Sensor Description The fuel composition sensor (FCS), also known as the flex fuel sensor, measures the ethanol to gasoline ratio of the fuel in the fuel line to the injectors. Flexible fuel veh...

Re: Would K-pro work ok wihtout the speed sensor?

The speed sensor inside the transmission is not working. How would K-pro behave without the speed sensor input? The CEL is on due to the speed sensor failure and I saw the idle rpm up-and-down from ~800 to 600rpm. Is it still safe to drive the car without causing any engine damage before the speed ...

Re: E85 Biofuel & K-Pro.

Can the K-Pro be mapped for E85 Biofuel? There is a Gas Staion near me starting to sell it and after a small conversion to the Engine you can run your car on E85 or Petrol. The E85 has a much higher Ron and would be great if I get the K-pro mapped for it. I'm running my K20-A2 powered car on E-85. ...

Nitrous control for shift light

I'm trying to set the nitrous 1 control up to run a shift light bulb. One side of the bulb (1057) goes to 12v, other to E connector (all the listed connections) Fuel 0, retard 0, engine speed 3500- 8000 (launch RPM), load 0- max bar, throttle 0-100, vss 0-158 (internal vss signal). Watching the KPro...

Nice to see someone else running the corn juice. Down here in KS, we aren't quite swimming in the stuff like IA, but it is available. I just polished off a couple tanks, got about 28MPG, (so far best gas MPG looks to be about 32) but still need to do a lot more tuning on the part-throttle maps. I a...

E85 calibration

I am running a 2002 RSX-S engine with RC 550 injectors, IPSK2 cams, 4-2-1header, no cat, 3 1/2" short pipe. Recently I've been running E85, that's 85% ethanol and 15% gas. I'm using the standard IPSK2 calibration with 75% increased fuel trim. Mileage sucks, but power "feels" good. My ...

The policy will be that you send your damaged ecu withthe K-Pro to us along with a working ecu and for $100 we will transfer the K-Pro to the new ecu and we will then keep and destroy the damaged ecu as we do not want them being resold and causing us and others problems in the future. No problem, I...

What would it cost to have the KPro tranferred to a different ECU.
This one works fine, except for the A/F reading.

Anyhow, why use an o2 sensor in a racecar? You are correct the car runs fine without the O2 sensor. I just wanted to datalog some "tuning" laps to see where my A/F ratios are. I must have slept through the part explaing why you absolutely must use the stock Honda A/F sensor. Makes perfect...

Propoer A/F sensor for K Pro

I have a small problem with my K20A2 engne swap. The datalogged A/F ratio is always 11.48:1, the O2 always read 00.0, and the O2C always reads -37.0 MA. I do NOT have a Honda A/F sensor, it's a wideband o2 sensor. I can read voltage usinf my digital voltmeter, but I never see any change while viewin...

Re: K-Manager and VSS

I'm having trouble with my VSS signal (Long story) and need to know the folowing. If I set the Launch RPM to zero, will the lack of VSS signal have ANY affect on the K-Pro ecu. Does the lack VSS signal cause the ecu to go into limp home mode or any thing like that. I will be doing some testing late...

Speedometer Calibration

Is it possible to change the VSS/Speedometer calibration for different final drive ratios? I have an autocross only car and I run a 7.25 rear gear and a 20 inch tall tire. The VSS/speedometer reads 158 half way down the straight, and won't dispaly higher than that, even when I set the upper limit to...
