Re: THousand of Knock
Your valve train will also cause a lot of false knock. You will have to ignore the factory knock sensor readings and tune it on a dyno with better knock detection devices. Hi civicRSA, I guess u r right... I returned to my mech n he readjusted for me... End up still e same... Guess I got to forgo e...

THousand of Knock
Installed a pair of new Brian Crower Stage 2 cams and supertech valve springs...
Car registered super high level of knock even at idling...
My mech confirmed valve lash adjustment are good.
If those knocks registered are legit, is my car gone for good?
Anyone can advise? Thanks..

Re: FlashPro on FN2 Cruise Control problem
Logic is the same, but in MAP/Race calibration under ign->Air temp compensation, the ign iat retard can be chosen to applied to ign knock limit or ign adv. This option is not avail in MAF calibration. U got what i mean?

Re: FlashPro on FN2 Cruise Control problem
In that case, can the next update includes option to apply ign compensation (iat, ect, etc) applied to MBT table rather than the KIL. (Like the race calibration) The reason I'm using a MAP calibration mainly is that when ign compensation is used on KIL, usually it don't works. Unless i would to put ...

Re: FlashPro on FN2 Cruise Control problem
Race Calibration aka MAP calibration. Just wanna know what's the logic that fuel tank level indicator can swing down and up just because of different tuning.. Arent it supposed to indicate with some level gauge sensor inside the fuel tank only? And the rev meter too... FD2r rev meter can works with ...

Re: noob help
I am not sure of this, but from the datalog showing knock level of up to 19% at idle is abit high in my opinion.
And driving at WOT at ~2500 rpm with ign advance of sub 10 degree, the car is obviously not pulling power.
Just my 2 cents..

Re: noob help
Hi, i think you got a same problem with my car... u are getting knocks at fairly low ignition advance, which drives yr knock control crazy and the ign advance is retarded by a hell lots... Maybe u would like to post yr calibration here... My car is also getting a hell lots of knocks at fairly low ig...

Re: noob help
U need to do a 3rd gear WOT pull to see how yr car behave in open loop.
Also u need to fine tune yr AFM calibration and ignition and position where there is high retard.
My 2 cents..

Re: FD2 Asia 155hp Automatic Transmission
nope bro. ... in fact, the gear ratio from flashpro manager for fd2 auto 155 hp is not correct... it should be fd 1.8 (if i remember correctly), I've also search on many sites and the gear ratios for fd2auto 155hp should be 2.666, 1.534, 1.021, 0.720, 0.524, Final Drive Ratio=4.437 I'm quite sure t...
