With the s200, boost and datalogging are enabled by entering a numeric
key into HondaLogger. You do not need to ship the unit back to the
dealer or Hondata.
To upgrade the s200 you will need a PC computer (a laptop
is best), HondaLogger V3, and the s200 connected to your car so that you
can power it up.
Step 1.
You will need the serial number from the s200. This is normally
found on the bottom of the interface box. If you cannot find the
serial number then perform steps 3 & 4 to find the serial number (the
serial number is displayed on the top of the 'ECU Information' window).
Step 2: Contact your
dealer, giving them the serial number of the unit and the option or
options which you wish to unlock.
Step 3: Connect
the PC/laptop to the interface box using the datalogging cable.
Switch the vehicle's ignition on, but do not start the engine.
Step 4: From
HondaLogger select the 'ECU Information' from the file menu. This
works even if datalogging is not yet enabled in the s200 system.
Step 5:
Select which option you wish to upgrade (boost or datalogging).
Step 6:
Enter the unlock code given to you from your dealer.
Step 7: The option
is now enabled.
