USB Troubleshooting

When the KManager software is installed, USB drivers for the KPro are install into the KManager directory and registered with Windows.  However, if the KPro is plugged in before the KManager software is installed, Windows will not find the USB drivers, Windows will disable the KPro and never prompt you again to install the drivers.  In this case we must manually update the USB drivers.

To Check USB Drivers Are Installed Correctly

Connect the KPro to the laptop (you do not need to switch on the vehicle ignition). Start KManager software, and check the USB driver status on the bottom right of the KManager window. It should say 'Driver Installed'.
