To connect to the KPro from a laptop use the Online / Bluetooth menu or click on the Bluetooth button in the toolbar. The vehicle ignition must be on.
The Select Bluetooth Device window will be shown. Windows will remember previously discovered KPros, but will not find new KPros unless you use the Refresh button.
Selecting the KPro will connect to the KPro. If the KPro has not been paired to the laptop, then Windows go through the pairing process. The pairing code defaults to the serial number of the KPro, and can be changed via the KPro / Bluetooth window.
To disconnect from the KPro, use the Online / Bluetooth menu or click on the Bluetooth button in the toolbar again.
Notes:
| • | Due to the way Windows discovers Bluetooth devices the KPro name may be blank until you connect to it for the first time. |
| • | If no KPro are shown, check that the Microsoft Bluetooth stack is being used. |
