Stumbling problem after smanager update v2.6.6

Post by Jgny2000 »

94 civic b18c1 turbo PTE 6765 on e85 with flex fuel sensor. Hondata s300 v2 I believe I will grab serial number tomorrow.

Car was tuned last in may 2016 and had ran great since then.

I recently wanted to change my launch control limit down a couple hundred rpm and was prompted to update to the new smanager software. I did so

I changed my rev limit and have had nothing but problems since. All the sudden my max boost was changed to 9.9 on high boost cut (maybe default and new options auto load values??) car has a weird stumble trying to drive can barley drive it. Have to let off gas rev a sec then let out clutch cab cruise 2 secs then car dies/ stumbles..

Tuner told me to get old Verizon of smanager back bc it was tuned with that and see if it works. He sent me my original tune that car was on and ran great with until the software update...

Are the new settings/ features in the software causing issues and or auto loading values causing issues? Can I get older versions of smanager to try?

If I have to get my car re tuned over a software update on your end then that’s horrible

tune is uploaded along with 2 datalogs

I have a vid of smanager and datalog from the vid to go with it? Edit- won’t let me upload the vid off my phone

car had 0 issues until new 2.6.6 smanager update was installed and I lowered the launch rpm and re uploaded the map

IT sounds like you have a partial upload. Close the program completely. Re-open it, load your calibration and then upload to the ECU.

spunkster I tried that multiple times it did not fix the issue

update: I was not getting any tps volt or % during testing and data logging.

changed tps clabrated it onTB to .46v closed 4.72v open. then opened smanager and seen tps signal was working. then calibrated tps in manager and came up with -0.12% min reading closed and 106.66 max reading open.

car seems good now.

but still it auto defaults my high boost cut to 9.9 for some reason? idk if its a new feature since I upgraded software and it auto defaults features or what? if that is the case I need to know what else 2.6.6 automatically changes when I load my 2.5 map onto the new 2.6.6?

here is a pull on low boost map now afr are good, inj are good, no bucking.

Should numbers in smanager be between 0-100 or is that ok? Or should I try and re calibrate to get .5v closed and 5.v open with multi meter and re do the reading on Smanager?

That looks perfectly fine.

Did you download the calibration form the s300, or did you load it from a saved file on the laptop?

What is the serial number of the s300?

My tuner sent me my tune so I loaded the calibration from the laptop. I’ll ger the serial number tomorrow when I get home and can open the ecu.

So what’s the deal with the boost cut auto loading 9.9 in the high boost cut tho. Do I have to check all my setting now from 2.5 up to 2.6.6 and see all th new settings from 2.5 forward are changed?

It wasn’t set. The car was tuned on smanager 2.4 or 2.5. Whatever was out in may of 2016.

These features were not out then, they came out in versions 2.6

That’s why I keep asking do I need to check alllllllll the features that came out since 2016 to see if all of them are on or preset or things changed bc if the new updates.

If the max boost cut was auto loaded as 9.9 what else has changed in my tune???

Anyone else have any issues like this when they updated from 2.4 or 2.5 directly to 2.6.6??

No one has answers?

Any new features added will go to the default values for them. You will have to check your calibration to make sure that the settings are what you want or need.
