HELP!!! I need a calibration for my 2002 Base K20a3 w/ PRB KPRO ECU
Im getting a CEL whenever i run the stock base rsx base map for p0661 for the Intake Manifold Valve which I believe deals with the runners. Im a noob currently and Im willing to learn everything about Hondata. For now Im currently running and CIvic SI basemap being that it similar to my motor, stock 270cc inj., I changed the gear ratios to the base 5 speed ratio, and I believe the only thing not being used is the Runners in the intake manifold. Forgive me if I made this thread complicated.

What is your ECU part number?

With a PRB ECU you will have to use the PRB based calibration as that ECU does not support secondary runners.

Which base map do you recommend?
Re: HELP!!! I need a calibration for my 2002 Base K20a3 w/ PRB KPRO ECU
Whichever one is closest to your setup and then you will need to make adjustments to it and to the injectors size. You could also start with a PNF calibration, but a PRB would be best.

Re: HELP!!! I need a calibration for my 2002 Base K20a3 w/ PRB KPRO ECU
I have the same thing, PRB-AO3 with KPro4, I'm running the base rsx 91 octane with dual intake runners disabled. I was told because the ECU board is a PRB I should be using a PRB calibration then make it the same as the base rsx 91 octane. Most is able to be copied over but on the PRB calibration there are more options for few things outside the tables that the PND calibration doesn't have. Also the knock tables won't let me match up 100% to what the PND calibration has.
Could someone check if this will be ok on a RSX K20a3 using the PRB k20a2stock map and modifying it as close to the PND Base RSX K20a3 91Octane map?
Also noticable on the maps is where the dual intake runners switch over, but with them disabled should I try to smooth those sudden peaks out?

So anybody have any input on how to adjust the maps above 4700 RPM to run off the long runners? I won't be doing a swap until late summer early spring so I'm not changing my manifold.
Curious if I base the 4700+ rpm maps off the civic k20a3 high octane map if my 4-2-1 race header will create enough vacuum to force enough air through the intake to utilize those fuel and ignition tables?

Re: HELP!!! I need a calibration for my 2002 Base K20a3 w/ PRB KPRO ECU
I stuck with the PRB calibration then worked it out for only the long runner for the entire tune by smothing out 4500-5000 then interpolating it, from there I leveled most of it out from 5000+ with a slight drop in fuel towards redline, tried to smooth out ignition timing best I could. Still need to do some good data logging with only pulls and not actual drives. Last drive home before making few more changes to fuel and ignition, was some good A/F on few WOT pulls I got, stayed between 12-15 but I never got to do full pulls and was only a few, bad morning traffic. It's snowing in Toronto so could technically go in 5th and just pull 2500-7500 in 4-5 seconds with low traction and get some data from there, 1 through 4 just redlines in 2 seconds when the tires spin.
Should I wait for dry conditions then do pulls in all gears and only record the pulls to make it easier to work through the logs? Or would having low traction in snow be better to simulate a dyno pull?

Well I went out to grab some breakfast, gotta love those french toast sticks from BK and their hashbrown bites ^_^, got some good data will post up data logs with tune before and tune after I do some changes.
