I am controlling the radiator fan thru Hondata which is working great. However I have the maximum vehicle speed set to 158mph because when I set it at a normal speed like 35mph, if the fan is on and I accelerate past 35mph the fan relay clicks on and off very quickly creating a "buzzing" sound while I am within 1-2mph of that speed.
This is a '91 CRX with cable driven speedo and my VSS signal is very jumpy, which I think might be the cause. Anyway to buffer the signal from the ecu so that it has time delay or something and will not cause this issue?

Re: Fan relay buzzing when accelerating past "max vehicle speed"
There is no way to buffer that. You need to resolve the issue with the speed sensor sending a jumpy signal.
Re: Fan relay buzzing when accelerating past "max vehicle speed"
Okay I will look into that. For the time being do you know if it could damage the relay running it this way?
Thanks
