'07 Civic Si drivability

Post by ohbilly »

Hello,
I recently purchased a used '07 Si and am very disappointed by the stock drivability. The rev hang is horrible and the throttle damping at certain times (3-8 mph and during downshifts) is equally as bad, making heel/toe work very frustrating. Will your reflash cure these two issues?

Thank you.

The reflash will help, but the FlashPro will give you the ability to custom tune it and make it feel the best.

Thank you for the reply. I would like to have FlashPro but am not willing to spend that kind of money at this time. I don't have a lot of interest in fine tuning and feel a reflash would be sufficient as long as the drivability was improved. Can you point me to any videos that demonstrate how the rev hang improves with your standard reflash on the 8th gen Si? I can find a lot of videos of reflashed Civics but they are all power shifting and not letting the RPMs drop naturally.

You will probably be better off asking those that have purchased the reflash to comment on how they think it feels.
