device not pairing

Post by spewin »

Hi
I just recently installed the s300 v3
Paired it with the phone. Though when I open the hondata app it says device not paired.
I have a HTC one m8. Android software 4.4.3
Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be great.

Regards

Do not use the pairing procedure in the phone. Just use the lightning bolt to connect in the App.

There may also be an issue with connecting on the HTC phones, somehow they have changed how Bluetooth works.

Now it says connection failed if I do that way.
Any more ideas on getting it to work?
Feels like such a waste not working.

What device do you have? With iOS you don't pair.

"passcode follow my s300 board number' - use 0000 or 1234 as some devices don't allow more than 4 characters, or only use 0000 or 1234.

I have been running into issues with the app not connecting to the FP. Sometimes i need to restart my phone, close all other apps. I never just turn it on and it connects.

Its a Motorola X android 4.4.4. I have had it crash a few times during normal driving and have sent the reports via google. The slowness in logging I can deal with but random disconnects and I am unable to reconnect. I usually have to unhook the FP and replug it in. Ive tried to reboot the phone, shut Bluetooth on and off close and reopen the app and get a connection failed .

Hi, having exactly the same issue. How do you change the pass code in Sanger. Where us Sanger?
Thanks,
Carlion.

In SManager, click the s300 button at the top and then go to the Bluetooth tab.
