Re: SManager software requests
a Breakout box.
5 switched input
3 switched output
1 PMW
1 (what ever will let me use a "IQ3")
car keep all OEM sensors and wire up... you get all the add-on and wiring to one neat place, think about it.

Re: SManager software requests
Need more target lambda values - would be nice to have atleast 5 over the current 3 !

Posted in another thread.whiterabbit wrote:I know about re-indexing the rows. I was thinking there might be a way to add rows so that I could adjust the map at 100 rpm intervals all the way through the rpm range. Now that I think about it, I could use the secondary tables and have it always enabled and set the min engine speed to whatever the primary table leaves off at and continue the tune on the secondary tables. It would still be nice to be able to expand the tables though.
Re: SManager software requests
Rev limits & shift light by gear have been added.

Hondata please read this
Need a better launch control if at all possible. We need more psi out of the hole. RWD Hondas cant build enough boost.

everything's there. Launch Control, Fuel Enrichment, Ignition Retard at this point.
were is the problem?

Cold Start
Cold Start
After start correction - based on time since last start
(if the table is in there somewhere)

Even if 14:1 is accurate, it is too lean for a cold just fired engine. The fuel is cold, air cold, ports cold, piston tops cold, so the fuel is not as happy to burn for you, so you need more of it.
My old carb motors may have needed as rich as 7:1 AF ratio with the choke to start and stay running when really cold
But there is no a magic target AF number, just richen up till it's happy. Its this piston and chamber warming affect in my mind that plays the biggest difference on immediate restart in my opinion. They warm up much faster than either IAT or ECT will show.
I think that is why OEM's, aside from having inlet and coolant temp correction, almost always have
1. a brief after start TIME enrichment, and
2. often even a correction for time since last start.

Re: SManager software requests
possible or not:
more maps.
i don't know how much internal memory the S300 (V2) has and if it is capable of getting different maps on the ECU and use a switch to get through them.
can you please say anything to that? and i'm talking about 100% different maps with different options.
example:
1st map: daily drive, low boost, low octane fuel
2nd map: trackday, higher boost, high octane fuel
3rd map: wet condition, other boost controlling, other launch control etc.
4th map: experimental: open loop with lower AFR than 14.7, for static drive at medium rpm to gain milage.
and this switched?
the question is, if it is possible or not. a short answer would be appreciated. if not possible: why not?
