2006 Acura Tsx Reflash ECU died?

Post by msmching »

Hi,

I, currently have an issue on my car. It wouldn't start.

It's not a confirm thing yet, since the dealer service is only guessing.

I have had the reflash done like 2 years ago. At first, they thought that the immobilizer malfunctioned, but they replaced it and it didn't work.

All and all because they said their Acura scanner cannot "communicate" with my car's ECU. And therefore, they will further check out the problem tomorrow.

But if it's really the ECU that's causing all the troubles, is there a warranty on this issue?

Thanks!!

If Acura needs to replace the ECU then make sure you keep the old one.

You need to print out the reflash form from our website and fill it out and send it along with your ECU, key, immobilizer and a cashier's check for $75. Make sure you put a note on the form sayign it was reflashed by a dealer.
