Help - B16A camshaft adjustment

Post by BoldJason »

I have a 89 CRX with Skunk2 stage2 cams and skunk2 pro series adjustable cam gears. What would be the best setting ? How many degrees ?

You need to put it on a dyno to have them set for your engine combination.

You will have to properly tune the idle region, I have s2s2 on a b16a2 with pct pistons and I have managed to get a a rock solid idle at 800rpm. I would consider it to be better than stock.
My cams are set at 0-0 with a vtec switch @ 6000rpm. Not had time to set it up on the dyno yet.
