I had one of the first KPros in my RSX back in 2004. I wrote much about the KPro and calibrations at ClubRSX and was the moderator of the ECU tuning forum for years.
December 2021 I decided I wanted to support Hondata by upgrading my original KPro to KPro v4. The calibration that was in my KPro ECU when I sent it to Hondata presumably was still in it when I got the upgraded ECU back. Car started fine, but I didn't take it on the road until today (3/4/2022). And it doesn't run right, kind of cutting off around 3000 and feeling like limp mode.
So I try to upload my calibration from my laptop, but I see that I have to register the KPro with Hondata first. Fine, I fill out the form, but it won't even let me go to the next screen unless I declare that this is only a registered and licensed competition car that I will never drive on the road. Well, I am not licensed with any racing outfit. So I can't register my KPro that Hondata sold me in 2004 and upgraded in 2021 and I can no longer drive my car???
If upgrading my KPro meant I could no longer drive my car that I've had and driven for the past 18 years, I would most certainly not have upgraded it.
Am I overlooking something here?
