That one looked good, had some knock from the new cam angle, but nothing we can't adjust for. This next one will be the 30* cam again, but with vtec now at 4000. Take this one for the same datalog and driving style.

Bit of a long one, basically just logged my drive home. WOT pull is at the end of the log.

It's looking good. Was it pretty hot outside where you are today? I saw some intake temps in the 140* F range and overall kind of warm.

Here is the next one. We will now move to the 40* cam angle with vtec back to 5500. For this next two revisions, we only need ten minute or so datalogs if that makes things easier for you. The main thing we need is the clean third gear WOT pull.

Yeah I think it got up to about 38°C today where I am (100°F). Typical Australian summer though really.

No worries I should be able to smash those out for you.

Okay sounds good. I just wanted to make sure everything was good with the intake and filter placement. Makes sense too, I was thinking you were European based, I didn't think Australia.

That one looked good. Now we will do the 40* cam angle with vtec at 4000. For this one, all we really need is a clean third gear WOT pull. So another ten minute or less datalog is great, just be sure to get a good third gear WOT pull. Then on the next revision, everything will be blended out and we get to see how it runs with everything blended.

Okay, I've got it all blended out, now the cam angle will rotate per the tables we built. So this one will give you an idea of the overall feel. Obviously in cooler weather it will feel stronger, so see how it feels. It will take a couple revisions to smooth out the tables in a blended file, but this will give you a good idea of the overall product anyways. Vtec appears to be happiest at 4600, but we can move it up or down depending on feel and your wishes.

Go back to the 20-30 minute datalogs with the third gear WOT pull again. Feel free to have some fun with it if you want, drive it however you want.

Here you go mate! The difference from where we started to how that drive felt is extremely noticable. Doesn't stutter or feel gutless at times, felt like it drove far smoother than before we started tuning it.

Man it looks good for the first blended revision. The WOT fueling was just about dead on, I made a couple 1% changes here and there. Part throttle was great, but I made a few tweaks there as well. We're looking good though, definitely almost there. We had some knock, but I made adjustments for that in this next one. Take this one for a drive when you can and we will see how it looks. Same datalog and driving style.

Still looks great. Had a few part throttle knock, so I made some adjustments for that. No other adjustments were necessary, so we're almost there.

No problem. It looks great, no knock and all the fueling looks pretty good. Go ahead and make another datalog when you can with the same calibration and let's see how it looks again. If it all looks good, we can all it good to go if you're happy with it.
