Lack of power after enabling Traction Control . Street mod

Post by alex_hockey69 »

The car has no power till 4500rpm then full boost come on at 24psi which is pretty cool but not worth the power loss. I updated the software with the new traction control settings when I'm driving the car on sport mode cruise control on but not using it the car runs perfectly fine when I turn off the cruise control the car lacks in power like I said before. I am running the +6 psi full throttle shift. as a set up

Can anyone explain to me how this Hondata traction control updated supposed to work for car? When the cruise control is not enabled the car has no power up until 4500 RPMs then full boost comes on. When I turn off the cruise control the car runs perfectly fine

What launching or driving? Can you post a datalog and tell us when you see the reduction in power?

Just had this occur with mine as well. Just now uploaded on lunch break and car gets to 8 psi and that is it until 4-4500rpm and restores full boost. No further details at this time. Also +6. Did not try hitting cruise control to see if any changes yet.

No problems until the flashpro required the new firmware so it is definitely something with 3.4.1

I have returned mine to stock. Will only use flashpro to monitor the car until I sell the flashpro or decide what to do. I'm sick of being forced to beta test when it forces firmware updates that makes me reflash the car. Or else run the risk of the tune files not matching and leaving me stranded.

Found the problem, working on the fix. The work around is to switch on cruise control main.
