TPS wires

Post by Ksw »

Could anyone explain what the green/white wire is on a TPS sensor. After trying to adjust the TPS 0.45V it changes to 0.5 or 0.6 because voltage from this wire to ground changes frequently. TPS itself is not changing its resistance.

I measured voltage with motor on. Voltage from ground to green/white wire changes if rev up the engine. Is this normal?

Thanks for your replies. :(

The ecu sensor ground is the green/white wire. yes there will be a change in voltage from the vehicle ground to this wire. you will need to adjust the voltage with the volt meter across two of the three wires ( I can't remember of the top of my head) instead of ground.
