Speed sensors wired from cable transmission

Post by turbon1ck »

I would like some help on wiring in a speed sensor for a 91 integra (cable vss) without using a cluster. I am going to be using the Bluetooth option with a tablet as the cluster. I know one wire is ground, one is power and the other is the signal. Do I just wire the signal directly to b10 on the p28 ecu?

This is something I'm interested in as well. I have a 91 civic rt4wd, with cable speedo and vss.

It's intermittent, but when I let off the gas & decelerate while in-gear, I get a check engine light with vehicle speed sensor code. I can clear it, but it's annoying.

You will need to look at a factory service manual for a vehicle like a 94 Integra to make sure you have it wired correctly.
