Underdrive Alternator pulley/voltage drop

Post by B18CR-X »

im using a AEM alt pulley on my b18c and I notice that my voltage at idle jumps between 14.1 to 13.9. Would the voltage drop cause idle / fueling problems when idling?
im running itb's, no iacv, idle set at 1000 rpm, tuning using Alpha N mode only, battery is relocated to the boot and i want my idle running as smooth as possible without any osculating.
if you say it will cause idling problem then I rather swap it back to the oem alt pulley where the voltage stay in one place at idle, 14.3.

Can I just change the value in "ignition compensation parameters" for volt compensation and "fuel trim parameters" for injectors dead time voltage to like 13.8 at idle to make it work? Thanks heaps in advance. :)

IF you have the injector dead times set correctly for your injectors then it should not fluctuate the AF with small changes in voltage.
