FK8 5k - 6k RPM Failure

Post by dvergara »

Hi Hondata. can you help me with a bug i have in this car. when I get between 5k and 6k rpm the car locks up and does not give power .. I have tried to modify the variables torque, ignition, etc.
I think the problem is the fuel pump.

Can you help me . I need to know if it is that or if something else is wrong

What fuel system do you have?

Are you running ethanol?

I don't have ethano. but the client changed the gasoline pump for a generic one. Not the mechanical pump, I change the one that goes in the tank

I don't know if those values are due to that .. if I see in the datalog that the pressure of the intectors drops when the pump reaches 100%

I would recommend that you put the OEM pump back in.

Based on your experience .. 100% FuelP is because gasoline is not reaching the system?

It is maxing out fuel system. See if it does the same thing with the stock pump.
