FlashPro Manager 3.2.6.0, Firmware 156
2016 Civic EX-T Canada CVT

Issue: Got Error U0038 after updating flashpro to the versions above (last time it was used was 1+ years ago) and uploading +6 basemap.
Got "christmas tree" of error lights on the dash that won't go away.

From browsing the forums, it appears that it is a mismatch between the tune and the TCM. I do not have the fuel dilution update from Honda.

I would prefer not to bring my car into Honda to get the update as they will then know the car was modified/warranty issues/etc.

Question: Is there a way for Hondata to include the older 2016 Pre-fuel dilution map/tune, so I can at least clear the christmas lights??
As an end-user, there was no warning before flashing. If I had known I would have returned to stock and get the fuel dilution update beforehand.

Thank you for your assistance.

First update to the latest version of FlashProManager.

If you do not have the oil dilution update from Honda (specifically when they reflash the transmission) then load a 2016 calibration, not a 2017 calibration, and you won't get the error.

Thanks for your prompt response!

I updated FlashProManager from 3.2.6.0 (FW 156) to 3.4.0.0 (FW 163) and successfully loaded +6 map. Car is back to normal. What a relief!

In 3.4.0.0, I was able to select the 2016 Civic CVT Calibration.
I do not believe this option was available in the 3.2.6.0 build (Only the 2017 Civic was selectable)
