ERROR MESSAGES IN CAR AFTER FLASHING

Hi All,

I re-flashed my US 2016 Civic EX-T to the new 3.2.4 update. The flashpro says it's uploaded successfully but I still see errors in my car like when it's uploading. My guess is that it's the 2017 vehicle since I can't even re-flash it to the 2016 stock ECU. Whenever I try to relash it back to stock ecu, it says "you cannot upload an "unknown" calibration to a 2017 Honda civic EX-T. When I select the calibration model it says civic 1.5T 2016+ but when I select the vehicle, all I see is 2017 US Civics. What's the deal????? What can I do to edit this? I might just go to the dealership to re-flash it to stock and sell the hondata flashpro if this doesn't work.

I’m also seeing a “You cannot upload a ‘Unknown’ calibration to a ‘Civic 1.5T US 2017 CVT’ FlashPro” error message when i try to return my ECU to stock.

My car is a 2016 Civic 1.5T EX-T..

Are you going to the online menu and choosing the return to stock function or are you going to the new calibration button and choosing a stock equivalent calibration?

Is everything plugged in with the ignition in the on position when you are doing this?

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on "send information to Hondata support". Include a detailed description of the problem and error messages you receive.

I’d be interested to know the fix for this as well. I have the same issue as the OP. I’ve tried to reflash several times, tried restoring to stock and flash an old calibration and the dashboard is still lighting up like Christmas tree. I want to try to revert to previous firmware but I do not have a copy of it. Please advise

@spunkster. I went to the dealership and they updated my TCM and ECU to the most updated one but given that i had issues when uploading the calibrations, they had to update it OVER the error-ridden calibration i uploaded. The car now is stock from the dealership, If i upload with the current calibration again (the same 2017 civic 1.5T calibration that screwed me over the first place) will it work this time?

**P.S the dealership also charged me $150 to do an audit on the errors......... so yeah.

Yes the calibration should now work. The problem was caused by the updates that Honda has issued. We have included these updates, but if you use them without first getting the updates from the Honda dealer your transmission controller will not be updated and must be updated by the Honda dealer. This is completely out of our control and is part of a service bulletin issued by Honda.

Dealer says VIN is not eligible so for those of us like this are we not able to build new tunes without just dealing with errors on the dash since the software wont match?
