Drag car settings
Drag car settings
After extensive testing (we rented a track) here are Traction Control settings for a drag car.
SManager & KManager settings will be the same:
The test car was a Turbocharged K-Series EG Civic with 8.5" slicks. Best launch was with the TC switch on the 2nd or 3rd click (clockwise from off).

Re: Drag car settings
Hello guys. Can you please post a video results of a drag race on 402 meters with traction enabled and disabled, with numbers please. Or might there are some papers with results? And if there were some different settings can you also post em!
Thanks! Anxious on results!

Re: Drag car settings
no proof that it really helps ?
Re: Drag car settings
Please, no trolling.
It works very well for drag cars.
It is difficult to provide the information you request as that would require multiple back to back runs with the same car in the same lane of a drag strip on the same day. Events typically do not provide this testing environment; also it is winter and there are no events here for another couple of months.

Re: Drag car settings
can you add program menu traction control for maximum speed ??
Re: Drag car settings
Yes speed limiter.for example at 150 km/h or 3th can i disable traction control?
Re: Drag car settings
A speed limiter or the maximum operational speed for traction control?
The answer to the first case would be that traction control is not the correct place for a speed limiter.
The answer to the second case is why would you want the traction control to have a maximum speed? We've run it over 200 mph without any problems.

Re: Drag car settings
I'm not sure if this is part of a turing test or not.
If you make a good case for the need to disable traction control then I'll add that feature.

Re: Drag car settings
I want to make sure that the traction off top gears..for example, enough to work with the first and second gears for drag.Wheelspin is not always slowing my car down. Compared to being able to fully accelerate with 100% grip, yes i am losing a little speed, but even when the wheels are spinning, the car is still accelerating.Hondata wrote:I'm not sure if this is part of a turing test or not.
