 Post subject: Romulator & USB cable

Ok, well this is my question. I have a Sony PCG-735 laptop (I know, I know not the newest...) and it has 1 serial posrt and 1 USB. Now hondata says to use the certain USB to serial cable adapter listed on the website. Long story short, can you use any USB to serial adapter, or does it have to be an RS232 cable...? Please help me out, and if this makes no sense I will try to rephrase it later.

You can try, but we know that the keyspan is the most reliable and easiest to use.
