S2000 Euro - current fuel pressure

Post by artec12 »

Hello,

I am taking a look at my euro s2000 stock equivalent map and I observed that the stock and current fuel pressure is at 425 kPa which is 61.6 psi. I have never seen such fuel rail pressure. Is that 425 kpa value correct or my fuel system has issues?

Thanks

Specification fuel pressure is 380-430 kPa. The fuel pressure is only used for calculating fuel change, it is not the actual fuel pressure for any vehicle.

Oh so the injectors flow about 360cc at operating fuel pressure and that is the compensation for it?

Thanks!

Yes, it just is for injection adjustment with changing fuel pressure, but the S2000 fuel pressure is so high that it seldom is altered.

Could you please explain this? "Calculating fuel change". Shouldn't we have the actual fuel pressure stated there?

Have you changed the fuel pressure? If not, do not worry about what the fuel pressure in the calibration is.
